The biggest brew ever! We are going to put our brewing chops to the test and max out the system. On Sunday we will brew a HUGE english barley wine. I punched the numbers into my brewing software and it gave me an abv of 17.6%! wow. This will be brewed with first runnings, so after that is done, on Monday we will be brewing the sparge which should lend us an ESB of 5% or so. Its going to be intense & I'm excited to see just what the system can do. Since these batches are bigger, the Sunday brew will mash in at 10am and will be a 10 hour process. The Monday brew will start at Noon and will be a 4 hour process. Come down and see the magic happen.
